Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Terminal Incharge to oversee the complete operations of our Dighi terminal. The role involves managing day-to-day terminal activities, ensuring safe and efficient handling, storage and dispatch of bitumen products, leading operational teams, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and statutory standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, operational planning, and problem-solving skills to drive seamless terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end terminal operations, including receipt, storage, loading, and dispatch activities
• Lead and supervise terminal staff to ensure smooth daily operations and optimum productivity
• Plan and monitor dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries and efficient fleet coordination
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock reconciliation and operational reporting
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and statutory regulations
• Coordinate with transporters, customers, vendors, and internal teams for seamless operations
• Monitor terminal equipment, utilities, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce losses
• Ensure proper documentation, record maintenance, and audit readiness at all times

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in terminal operations, petroleum/bitumen logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management
• Prior experience in handling terminal operations independently will be preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, dispatch planning, and logistics coordination
• Good understanding of safety regulations and operational compliance
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in the bitumen industry
